VK Prakash was born on the 12th of May 1960. He is an Indian director and actor who has worked on several feature and short films in languages such as - Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada and Hindi films. He has started his own independent advertising agency in 1994 - 'Trends Adfilm Makers Pvt Ltd' which based in Bangalore.
VK Prakash's first feature film 'Punaradhivasam' had received the awards for National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam, Kerala State Film Award for Best Debut Director and Kerala State Film Award for Best Story, Winner of best foreign full feature film at The Atlantic City Film Festival.
He had previously worked with renowned advertising agencies like Everest, Satchi & Satchi and Ogilvy and Mather as the creative head for films. He has won several awards for National and International awards for creative excellence in the field of advertising.
VK Prakash is married to Sajitha and has a daughter named Kavya.
