Rajamouli wanted to stop the production since the 'Ee' made by the VFX didn't impress him at all. But since around 4-8 Crores were already spent, he decided to move forward and generate the 'Ee' from scratch.

S.S. Rajamouli made Nani to cover his head completely in cloth and asked him to perform various emotions just through body language. This data was given to the animation team who then created all the movements and body language for the fly.
