At an idyllic school in rural USA, a new art instructor arrives from the city of New York. Her personality, her pain, her points of view are irreverent and different, sparking a conflict between her and the English teacher.
The concept that 'words are lies, while only pictures represent the truth' sparks a competition in the school about which is greater, the power of the word vs the power of a picture. This rivalry ends up igniting a fiery relationship between the two, but more importantly it inspires the entire school to fight for their passionate English teacher who is about to be fired.
