Embedded with charged emotion and social relevance, this offbeat drama revolves around Darappan, a tribal hunter who lives in the forest along with his community. Rajendran is a forest officer employed in the area, but he is exploitative and cruel. His friend, Vivek, who is good-natured and wise comes to the area and begins making a photographic documentation of the tradition, culture and lifestyle of the tribals living in forested areas.
He comes into contact with Darappan, who leads an isolated life, as he has been excommunicated by his community. What was Darappan's crime? Why has he been excommunicated by the community? How will Darappan's future unfold? At a time of major change, how will the government officials deal with rampant exploitation of the tribal community and help in their upliftment?
