Tomasso is an American living in Rome along with Nikki, his European wife and their three-year-old daughter Dee Dee. He is working on a movie script and teaches acting – which is sometimes merely just breathing and moving in space. Tomasso occasionally attends the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and his relationship with Nikki is strained as he is her senior by more than thirty years.
