Trivia:
Hook is one of Disney's most famous villains thanks to Conried's performance which portrayed the pirate as dramatic, hilarious and awesomely bad.

Captain Hook's origins are quite scandalous, Hook's mother was Queen Victoria and an unnamed Lord. The circumstances of his birth seem to have colored his blood yellow, a sight that frightens the poor pirate.

Captain Hook was originally voiced by Hans Conried, who also played Wendy's father, Mr. Darling, in the 1953 classic. The reasoning behind this is that the voice of the villain was meant to come from the children's imagination.

Captain Hook is said to have attended Eton, an ultra-exclusive school for the privileged in England, that was also attended by Princes William and Harry

While most fans of the 1953 "Peter Pan" believe Tinker Bell was based on Marilyn Monroe, the actress who modeled Tink's role in the studio, Margaret Kerry, confirms otherwise.

Extra dazzle was added to this movie when 'Mad Men's' Christina Hendricks and 'Thor' star Tom Hiddleston joined the fun as rogue fairy Zarina and young Captain Hook, respectively.
