"The Intern" is such a wonderful feel good film that it makes you fall in love with the movies once again.A lot of credit for this should go to the towering and emotionally palpable performances by Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.Issues of senior citizens trying to cope up with the latest technology, their optimism and experience lending a moral and helpful shoulder to the more tech savvy turbulent lifestyle of the younger working generation and the generation gap along with the importance of family ties and the beauty of friendship all are brought about in such a subtle yet thought provoking manner. The supporting actors Rene Russo as the office masseuse,Linda Lavin as Niro's friend who still has the hots for him ,Andrew Ranells and Adam Devine as the office staff of Anne Hathaway are spot on in their smaller and yet beautifully essayed parts.Director Nancy Meyers deserves a pat on the back for a job well done."The Intern" is truly mesmerizing.
