Shilpa Krishnan Shukla

Shilpa Krishnan Shukla has been pursuing film making as a passionate hobby and writes, produces and directs her films. She is originally from Kerala in India, and did her Junior College and Bachelors in Computer Engineering in Singapore on the prestigious Singapore Airlines – Neptune Orient Lines scholarship. She is currently settled in Singapore with her husband and daughter and works in a leading healthcare company as a global marketing director. Her passion in film making took off when her first two films, both 1-minute long, were shortlisted in the Top 25 films of an online film festival, in 2008. Her English zero-budget feature film 'Mausams' which was released in 2011 went to film festivals in India, Bangladesh and USA and had won a Silver Screen Award at the 2011 Nevada Film Festival. She is an avid reader, a trained Indian classical dancer, and a yoga enthusiast.
