Well shaped movie by Director Balki. It was delight to watch the two SuperStars on screen. Dhanush was on to a different level. It wasn't like a first film to AksharaHaasan she coordinated well with the two Guns. Amitabh presence powers the movie. Pleasant background from Illaiyaraja. Well placed movie.

Movie is awesome

Actors ruled the movie. The effort of music director is nice. But there is a track which he has been copied from Tamilan movie. Its a theme music of Tamilan movie and music director is D. Imman. How come this can be done? I was shocked.............. Sorry I am not here to hurt anyone's effort at the same time I just want to convey.

#Shamitabh: Excellent Complete Movie with a very unique story
on

#Shamitabh: Excellent Complete Movie! I loved every bit of it. Seriously I do not have words to explain how I enjoyed the movie. Each and every aspect of Shamitabh was just on the dart to perfection.

A complete package of ossom stuff in all the areas starting from Story to direction to cinematography, acting, music, and to the BGM. Everything went hand in hand infact competing with each other and in the end everything fell on a high note!

It is the unique story that gives #Shamitabh much of its weight and hats off to #Balki for his daring effort to make a movie with such an out-of-the-box subject, simply #MasterClass.

Next to the story it’s the #casting which has fallen in place, #Dhanush being just one movie old in Bollywood , has given one of his #BestPerformances To stand next to a legend like #AmitabhBachchan and give an equal performance, is no mean feat. Dhanush has showcased the best of his acting abilities in the scenes and it shook us off the seats.

#Amitabh has once again pulled off a #TerrificPerformance standing tall with all guns blazing effortlessly. He was phenomenal in his gestures and had the perfect tough for the top notch performance

The combination of the two pivotal figures has attained perfection which is the core reason for the success of the movie. They fell well within the place holders outperforming each other which takes the movie to the next league.

#AksharaHaasan – #claps #claps, in her debut flies high in #confidence that bodes well for the future. She carried the character on her shoulders so well that she fitted in the script to perfection adding value to Dhanush and Shamitabh and the script. She displayed ultimate acting skills and I felt she is way ahead of Shruthi Hassan who is just doing non sense in the industry in the name of acting.

I wouldn’t be able to comment how the movie would have shaped without the #maestro’s #magicaltouch. The movie is embellished with fresh music with great uniqueness. The BGM is the soul of the movie; it stitched the complete piece together.

I would fail if I don’t mention the outstanding camerawork of #PCSreeram. The most important scenes of the movies had very different camera angles which was his touch.

The other positives in the movie are the #sensitiveDialogues which takes the movie a step higher, the perfect #humorFlavor, the #symbolicExpressions and the attention to every small detail in each frame which gave the complete feel.

If you think of what’s negative in the movie, I would say the second half was a bit slow but I don’t care I loved every bit of it.

After saying all the above, those take #Shamitabh to a unique level. I’m sure I will be watching the movie again to closely relish nuances in each frame.

Hats Off to the entire Crew – #Balki , #Amitabh, #Dhanush, #Ilayaraja, #Akshara and #PCSreeram

Trivia:
This is director Balki's third feature film, also his third with Amitabh Bachchan and music composer Ilayaraja.

Director Balki who has never introduced any newcomers before has introduced Akshara Haasan as an actor through this film.

Balki got the idea for Shamitabh when he was stuck in traffic while heading to Bachchans' residence for Amitabh Bachchan's 69th birthday bash.

Amitabh Bachchan was constantly in a bad mood while shooting for this movie to remain in character of a cranky, churlish tantrum-throwing actor.

One of the songs from the film was shot entirely at exotic restrooms across Lapland, Finland.

Ilayaraja with Balki by his side composed the entire soundtrack of the film in 45 minutes.

The song 'Piddly' was composed in just 3 seconds by Ilayaraja.

Sruthi Haasan sang a song for Akshara Haasan in this film.

This was the first Indian film to be shot in Lapland, Helsinki and was so cold that the camera lenses froze.
