Inspired by a true occurrence and set at the end of World War II, the American military is bombing Japan and its
cities at a frightening pace leading to many civilian and innocent casualties. Kaede and Mitsue band together to take
the children under their care to safety. They find shelter and a modicum of safety at an old temple. Tokyo burns in the
meantime.
