Evocative and provocative, this psychological relationship drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Nanjunda (Ravishanker), a simple man from a farming background. His life takes an exciting turn when the woman of his dreams, Parvathi (Hamsini), who is well educated and sophisticated, accepts his shy and hesitant marriage proposal.
After the wedding however, Nanjunda gradually develops a deep sense of insecurity due to his low self esteem. As a consequence, he becomes obsessively suspicious of Parvathi and starts to psychologically torture her.
The trouble in their relationship spirals out of control, when his fear that his wife would realise her mistake, find a better man and elope with him, leads him to suspect his wife of having an affair with his own brother.
Unable to bear her husband's paranoid suspicion, Parvathi leaves him to go and live with her parents. Will Nanjunda realise his psychological illness and seek treatment? How will their respective futures unfold?
