Nam Annayya (2021)

Directed by Siva, Nam Annayya is a family drama that revolves around the strong bond and affection that Kaalayan (aka Nam Annayya) has for his sister whom he raised from birth. He goes to every length to ensure she gets educated, and on her return from North India as a graduate, he starts looking for a bridegroom for her as is customary in their town and culture. A local businessman Naatudurai, who had previously duelled with Kaalayan, realises the errors in his ways, and proposes himself as a bridegroom prospect to Kaalayan. While the wedding arrangements are in full swing, misfortune strikes, and Nam Annayya goes on a mission to set things right.
