Mr.Bean's teddy bear Teddy doesn't appear in the film at all.

The film's red carpet scenes were filmed at the actual Cannes Film Festival. Willem Dafoe later confirmed that the actual red carpet premiere was for the Pedro Costa film Colossal Youth (2006).
