MIGHTY MARY, narrated by Hugh Jackman and Elizabeth Banks, is directed by award-winning filmmaker, Mary Mazzio, and produced along with Allison Abner and Grant Hill. The film chronicles an amazing group of 'we eat nails for breakfast' type of women: the first all-women's sailing team in history to contend for the famed America's Cup. This Cup, the holy grail for big boat, big money, international yacht racing... has been chased by the wealthiest men on the planet since its inception in 1851. Going up against 144 years of tradition, this women's team was groundbreaking, seismic even, with extraordinary talent onboard: world class and Olympic sailors, Olympic rowers, as well as a deaf sailor, a Native American sailor, and the first African American sailor to ever win an America's Cup race (as a coach of this novice, erstwhile team).
