Lakshmana Rekha (1975)

This family-oriented romantic drama delves into the disastrous consequences of crossing lines that should not be crossed. Kavitha and Urmila belong to a wealthy family and are college students. Their grandfather, Judge Raj Shekhar is a very loving man, but against the phenomenon of love marriage, because he believes that they always cause misery. Kavitha is madly in love with Ramesh, and the young couple wish to get married, but are afraid to reveal their relationship to their families. In course of time, when the judge comes to know about Kavitha's affair, he objects to the relationship. Kavitha argues with her grandfather saying that she is a liberated woman, who deserves the right to choose the man she wishes to spend her lifetime with.
