Krishnarajunulu (1982)

This socially relevant drama revolves around Arjun and Krishna, who are best friends. However, Arjun is a thief, and Krishna is a person of great integrity, who is well educated and on the lookout for suitable employment.

Krishna lives in the village with his mother and younger sister, Vasanthi. He gets a job interview and travels to the city by train. During the journey, his suitcase comprising of all the documentation of his educational qualifications is stolen. Krishna is stranded in the city without money.

It turns out that Arjun is the leader of the thieves who stole Krishna's suitcase. So, he travels to Krishna's village to hand them over and in the process, falls in love with Vasanthi.

When his documents are returned to him, Krishna continues his search for employment and with the assistance of a wealthy young woman, Jyoti finds work. Later, Jyoti and Krishna fall in love and get married. How will Krishna react when Arjun's reality is exposed? Will he accept the relationship between Arjun and Vasanthi? What will the future hold in store for them?
