Kappalu Muthalali (2009)

This offbeat drama delightfully depicts the twists and turns in the life of Bhoominathan (Ramesh Pisharody), an ambitious man with the very enterprising nature. He dreams of developing the various properties in the city that he has inherited, and become a successful businessman. While in the process of developing a property for the construction of a resort he finds to his astonishment, the archaic remnants of a ship. Bhoomi takes no time to inform the archeological department which lands him to further trouble and his project of resort building gets blocked. At first, he seeks the help of his friend, Radhika (Sarayu), who also works with the same department. Now with the help of some fresh ideas from her, he plans to venture into a new arena of business. How will the future pan out for him? Will he succeed in creating a flourishing business or will his life take on a completely different trajectory?
