Hrishikesh Jadhav, professionally known as Hrishtune, is an Indian animation film director, animator, writer, and visual artist known for his emotionally resonant 3D animated films and poetic music videos. He was born on 5th September 1985 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India, into a family of renowned artists and creative professionals. From a young age, Hrishtune was immersed in a rich artistic environment. He is the son of internationally acclaimed architect Shrikant Jadhav and the grandson of Baburao Jadhav, the legendary art director behind iconic Indian films such as Do Aankhen Barah Haath (1957), Navrang (1959), and Sehra (1963)-all produced under V. Shantaram's prestigious Rajkamal Studios. This deep-rooted exposure to cinema, architecture, and classical Indian aesthetics shaped his early creative instincts. At the age of 14, Hrishtune began studying animation in Dubai, where he taught himself visual storytelling by experimenting with early digital tools and short-form projects. Without formal film school training, he developed a deeply personal style of filmmaking that blends philosophical depth with cinematic clarity. Beyond filmmaking, Hrishtune also writes lyrics, designs his own visual worlds, and seeks to express the unspoken layers of the human experience through multiple artistic forms. He continues to build a unique identity within India's indie and experimental film space, often working solo across every aspect of production-writing, directing, animating, editing, and composing.
