A professional boxer, Adi, wishes to win a gold medal for India in an international boxing championship. However, due to the politics in the boxing association he losses an important match to an undeserving opponent, who uses malpractices to win the match. Disappointed by the incident he quits boxing only to return to the boxing ring as a coach to an aggressive fisher-woman Rameshwari, who fulfills his dream of winning the gold medal for the country.
