The movie traces the lives of four characters from diverse backgrounds, and their journey to the U.K. The people include Joy, a middle-class corner store owner with an extended family in London and all its problems and advantages. Shankaran, a Kathakali artiste-turned-waiter who is an illegal immigrant. Sibin, an IT executive with a roving eye. Saraswathy, a Tamil Brahmin, who is married to a doctor, and has lived in the U.K, for more than 20 years. and finally Gauri, a young married woman from a rustic background.
