Coming Up For Air (2019)

Anna Russell, a celebrated ceramic artist has her world shaken when she learns that she is pregnant. Her lover, a fellow student had left town without giving his address and she lost her chance to work it out as she moves to America and raises her son on her own. Nineteen years later, Anna's son Stan is a nationally ranked 10-meter diver and Italian studies major who is leaving to college. Anna learns to rediscover as she is given the same no-right-to-information pass as other parents receive from their own college-going children. Without an idea of what trouble he's in, Anna learns that he dropped out of college, became homeless and took refuge in a blog post. Desperate to save her son, she learns that Stan had stolen his grandfather's gun and manages to tackle the situation by preventing the tragedy.
