Trivia:
Bijuka was shot in six days on location in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Filming was again disrupted when a gun wielding man barged onto the set, spouting out the lewd, sexual intentions he had for the lead actress. When his request for an audience with Arti was denied, he became hostile and combative, threatening the crew and the director with his gun. He was eventually subdued and escorted off set without anyone being hurt in the process.

The filming of the rape scene was dramatically cut short due to village officials concerns over impending violence in the area. On September 30th, 2010, the verdict of the land title case spawned in the wake of the 1992 Hindu and Muslim riots was to be read. The entire country was on high alert, for the riots had left 2,000 dead and countless others injured. Therefore, filming was forced to shut down before the verdict's rendering.
