Trivia:
The film is the directorial debut of Homi Adajania.

The movie was shot entirely in Homi’s bungalow in Panchgani which is spread over two acres of land.

The script went through 52 drafts.

The movie was originally titled Akoori, a traditional Parsi scrambled-eggs-like side dish, to reflect the 'scrambled' Sethna family. The name was changed as majority of audience won't get the meaning. The director, however, has included a scene of Akoori being prepared where a thousand eggs are broken in a large vessel.

This is Saif Ali Khan's first English feature film. Jon Harris who edited Guy Richie's cult classic Snatch has re-edited the movie in a record time frame of 21 days.
