Abirbhab (1995)

This fast-paced drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Tapen, a bold and straightforward young man, who returns home to India after completing his higher education abroad.

Upon returning home, he is appalled by how different things have become and is shocked to see the rampant corruption and crying in his local community. He decides to make it his mission to fight against injustice and return peace, happiness and prosperity to the people. On this dangerous journey, he keeps coming across the name of Brojen Dutta, a wealthy and powerful man who is involved in all kinds of malpractice.

Brojen and his son Shibu are responsible for tyrannically brutalising the entire community and Tapen begins working against them. Soon, Shibu and his men threaten Tapen and try to force him to leave the village. Corrupt policemen are sent to arrest Tapen on false charges. Can Tapen resist his powerful enemies and succeed in defeating them? Will he be able to bring Brojen and Shibu to justice?
