Aaj Ka Shoorveer (2009)

This fiery crime drama revolves around Gemini (Venkatesh), a fearless young man who is forced to turn to a life of crime. He develops a fierce enmity with Ladda (Kalabhavan Mani) another gangster, as both vie for supremacy over Vijayawada.

Meanwhile, Gemini meets Manisha Natwarlal (Namitha) and falls in love with her. To win her heart he gains admission in an evening college as her classmate, and eventually, she too falls in love with him.

Even as Gemini gets the upper hand on his rivalry with Ladda, Vishwanath (Murali) an honest and uncompromising police officer arrives as the Commissioner of Vijayawada, arrests both of them, and puts them in one cell. Gemini uses this opportunity to convince Ladda to plead Viswanath to give them a chance to lead a normal life.

Gemini's trick works and they both are given a chance. While Gemini changes his life, Ladda continues on the path of violence and crime. Can Gemini find a way to leave behind his past life and start a new life as a law-abiding citizen with Manisha or will his past come back to haunt him?
