Where did you watch this movie?

Some people have factitious disorder, so much that they think it as real. This thinking is called as Munchausen Syndrome. This syndrome is named after Baron von Munchausen, an 18th century German officer who was known for embellishing the stories of his life and experiences. He used to treat people suffering with such factitious disorder. The movie “Tinhisanja” revolves around affairs between two neighboring families namely Nadkarni and Joshi. Mansi Nadkarni has no kids of her, so, She finds recreation in the 7-year-old Ashwini, child of Joshi. Society has a typical point of view to look at a child-less woman. Ashwini’s mother is not an exception. This result in Mansi getting constrained to close all relations with Ashwini. Mansi is now mentally distressed. Helpless Mansi finds some recreation in a doll as if it is her own baby. Mothers of kids up to 5-6 years scare them with scarecrow. Be quick!, take your food quickly, go to bed early, lest scarecrow will come and take you away, etc., etc. In reality no scarecrow is there, it only exits as a virtual image of mind. The kids too, realise this as they grow. At “Tinhisanja” (the twilight), Mansi sees the scarecrow by her mind’s eye and tells him to take her baby away. The scarecrow really comes and tries to take away the baby. But she is unprepared to let it go. Both scuffle over it. “Tinhisanja” is a brink of Evening and nighttime, specially known for the hypersensitive state of mind of a person during this time. It is a propitious time in Indian culture. This movie unfolds such a “Tinhisanja”, as an ordeal Mansi went through in her life. What happens next? Does she come out of this ordeal? Can her husband prop her up through her testing times? All who watch this movie will always recall the touching scenes in between Ashwini (Awani Matsye) and Mansi (Megha Vishwas) and the dance by Ashwini “Pari mee Pari”. Yes, we assure you about that.
