Trivia:
Green's most famous role came in 2006, when she played Vesper Lynd, James Bond's love interest, opposite Daniel Craig in "Casino Royale." She also had roles in "Kingdom of Heaven," "The Golden Compass" and "Dark Shadows."

Green's portrayal in "300 – Rise of an Empire" was critically acclaimed and hailed as the best part of the movie. She was praised as a magnetic villain in her depiction of the blood thirsty Artemisia, who leads the Persian navy against the Greeks, with a personal vendetta.

She appeared in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," which like "Empire" is a sequel based on the work of comic book artist Frank Miller. She also starred in "The Salvation," a western movie by Danish director Kristian Levring, and the Showtime horror series "Penny Dreadful."
